This year, through Step into Hope, we are preparing 450 gift bags for moms and caretakers showing up every single day for their children. Each gift is more than a bag — it's a reminder:

At Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, we deliver handcrafted gift bags to mothers walking through the hardest days of their lives — because no one should feel invisible in their suffering.

"I received my first gift from Faithfully Restored when my son was at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. It was Mother’s Day, and the gift brought such a smile in a moment when the day was nothing like I had imagined for my first Mother’s Day. It brought me comfort when I needed it most. My second gift came after my son passed, just a couple of weeks later. I can’t put into words how much it meant to me. The necklace you included was beautiful, and I still wear it today. When people compliment it, I tell them it was sent by you all in remembrance of Canaan. Your gift brought tears to my eyes. To be cared for so deeply by people I had never met was incredibly touching. I will never forget it. Thank you for your prayers and your gifts — they truly made me feel like I wasn’t alone."

"Two years ago my daughter was in the PICU at Vanderbilt on Mother’s Day and I was with her that day which was also my birthday. I felt so alone and grieved over the situation with my daughter and then one of your volunteers handed me a pink bag filled with amazing gifts. From gift cards to beauty products to socks.
